Aooni2 lets the order of four stages change the difficulty
PREVIEW · Official Steam listing · Not played · Sources checked Oct 9, 2026. Our method.

The next stage is part of Aooni2’s challenge selection. In the advertised Seaside School scenario, four distinct stages can be completed in any order, and the difficulty scales with the path you take. Choosing where to go is not presented as a purely cosmetic rearrangement.
That makes a route worth considering before asking how to solve one room. The description does not explain what scales, identify the easiest first stage or demonstrate a beneficial order. It would be an invented guide to recommend a particular sequence. The supported discovery is that the sequence itself has a consequence.
The package’s two scenarios need to remain distinct. The classic Aooni 2 section separately advertises Speed Mode with multipliers from two to seventeen. A speed multiplier changes pace; Seaside School’s stated rule changes difficulty with stage order. The page does not establish that those controls apply interchangeably across both scenarios.
If the escape puzzles appeal, decide which kind of challenge you want to investigate: a faster version of the classic scenario, or a route whose ordering matters in Seaside School. The latter gives a useful question to carry into play: after choosing this stage first, what has changed about the stages you have left?
Sources & context
The listing does not specify which route is easiest, what scales or how information transfers between stages. Speed Mode is described under the classic Aooni 2 scenario; it is not assumed to apply identically to Seaside School.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
