BuGarden puts a small garden beside your other windows and gives a snail a practical assignment. The developer says the companion helps water seeds, while you can also use water and fertilizer yourself. The helper changes what tending the corner of the screen might require.

The listing advertises no timers or fail state. Taken together, these descriptions suggest a garden you can step away from without an advertised loss deadline, rather than a crop emergency that must interrupt work. They do not establish that the snail handles all watering, supplies fertilizer or completes every future task.

Growth unlocks seeds, tools and decorations, so there is still something to return for. The useful question is how those unlocks change the amount of interaction you want to provide. A new tool may be worth inspecting for what it does, rather than assuming every addition demands more checking.

If you want flowers nearby while concentrating elsewhere, examine the actual division of labour between you and the snail. The attraction is being able to leave a growing thing alone for a while; a cute helper is only relevant if its help matches that intention.

Sources & context

Snail assistance, unlocks and the absence of a fail state are official claims. The description does not quantify watering coverage or establish that every task is automated.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
