Cat Isle’s customers are not advertised to all want the same fish. The developer contrasts cats seeking fresh sashimi with cats happiest with tea and a nap, then asks the caretaker to balance shop supplies around those preferences. Watching visitors has a management purpose.

That gives expansion a question before it becomes a building count. Another shop may be useful because it supplies something the current visitors want, rather than because any additional building automatically solves demand. This follows the stated preference system; the page provides no demand rates, prices or penalty for disappointing a cat.

Decoration is described through a separate Gashapon machine that unlocks plants and ornaments. Those objects can shape the town’s appearance, but the source does not assign a revenue bonus to a particular capsule reward. A pleasing arrangement and the right shop supplies are decisions the description names differently.

The attraction is a town small enough to invite observation before another expansion. Notice which offering the cats seek, then decide what the shops should carry. Cat Isle’s stated management question starts with an individual preference, not an assumption that every visitor wants another bowl of sashimi.

Sources & context

The listing names preference differences but no demand rates, profit formula or consequence of an unsatisfied visitor. Gashapon is described as a decoration source, not evidence that a particular decoration raises revenue.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
