Curve Fever Pro changes the value of survival when points can be stolen
PREVIEW · Official Steam listing · Not played · Sources checked Oct 9, 2026. Our method.

In Curve Fever Pro, staying out of the trail is not the whole scoring question. The official description gives your constantly moving ship a deadly trail and, in Classic FFA, powers that can steal opponents’ points. The player with a lead is carrying something worth attacking.
The developer says attacking a higher-scoring target can be more rewarding. That creates a reason to compare a safe stretch of arena with an opportunity to pursue a valuable opponent. The precise transfer formula is not established here, and nothing in the listing makes pursuit the universally correct move: you still have walls and trails to avoid.
Survival Teams makes a useful internal comparison. It removes offensive point stealing and scores the team for outliving its opponents. Steering remains, but the advertised scoring incentive changes. A move that promises a transfer of points in a Classic mode loses that particular justification in the survival mode.
Choose the rules before deciding which version of the game appeals. If you want a contest over both space and the current lead, inspect Classic’s attacks. If the pleasure is keeping the team alive as the arena fills, Survival Teams makes that aim more direct.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
