Dodo Duckie lets a change of view reveal the next path
PREVIEW · Official Steam listing · Not played · Sources checked Oct 9, 2026. Our method.

Dodo Duckie’s cap changes what you can see of the way forward. The developer says it lets you switch between side-scrolling and third-person views whenever you like, with hidden paths and platforms as reasons to make the switch. Finding the route is partly a decision about how to look.
That is a concrete use for the two-perspective premise. A route that is unclear in one view can invite another inspection rather than another attempt at the same jump. The description does not demonstrate a particular puzzle or say that switching creates platforms, so revealing a path should not become an invented claim about changing the world’s collision rules.
Gliding, floating and swimming are also named traversal actions. Those concern moving through a route once recognized; the cap concerns recognizing it from another view. The two jobs can support the same rescue journey without establishing a specific sequence of inputs or a guaranteed solution to every obstacle.
The attraction is the ability to reconsider the space before committing to the movement. If a platformer interests you most when an apparent dead end becomes a different reading of the room, this is the advertised rule to investigate: change the view, then decide what the newly visible path actually permits.
Sources & context
The listing establishes perspective switching, but not a worked puzzle, a change in collision rules or whether an object is created rather than revealed. A view change is not assumed to make every obstacle traversable.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
