Effulgence RPG lets fallen enemies become equipment during the battle

Effulgence RPG has a practical use for the enemy that just fell apart. The developer’s description says defeated enemies become particles that you collect for a matter printer. That printer produces weapons and equipment, and it can operate during battle.
The timing is the interesting part. Manufacturing is advertised as available while an encounter is still happening, so the products of a defeat need not belong exclusively to preparation for the next fight. An enemy is both an obstacle for the four-hero party and, once defeated, a source of crafting material.
That does not establish an instant upgrade after every kill. The description leaves blueprint requirements, particle costs, action costs and equipment-change timing unspecified. Those details decide how much room the printer actually gives you to respond to a fight; an attractive new weapon is not automatically an affordable or immediately usable one.
The developer’s website also describes enemies as material for the printer. Its presentation makes that material idea especially apt: landscapes, machines and creatures are built from text characters arranged in moving 3D forms. The printer gives disassembly a stated mechanical consequence as well as a visual one. If you investigate Effulgence RPG, watch what becomes possible between an enemy breaking apart and the next tactical decision. That is where its unusual resource promise has to earn its place.
Sources & context
The official description establishes particle collection and in-battle printing, without giving recipe costs, action costs, equip timing or access to a particular blueprint. No claim is made that a defeat always funds an immediate upgrade.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
