Flick Shot Rogues puts the adventurer in the shot. The publisher describes lining up a flick that sends your hero across the board, while the run supplies items, talents and curses. Preparing a build does not remove the need to aim the thing carrying it.

A new journey reshuffles enemies and offers different rewards, so an earlier route is not a prescribed sequence for the next attempt. The publisher warns that a misfire can be dangerous; it does not provide a universal angle or a guarantee that an upgrade rescues one.

The appeal is the connection between a planned set of effects and a physical-looking action you still choose. For players who enjoy considering a move and then committing to its direction, the hero’s journey begins as an aiming problem. The interesting build is the one you can put to use on the board in front of you.

Sources & context

The publisher establishes hero-as-shot movement and changing encounters. This preview does not assess save reliability. Review context was retained separately; no post-patch save outcome was verified.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
