Flock of the Seraphim lets the angels you earn outlast a completed run

The weapon can have a place in the next run’s collection in Flock of the Seraphim. The official description treats angels as weapon-bearing allies and says you can keep those weapons after completing a run. Acquiring one is advertised as more than a temporary addition to the current fight.
The angels have individual passives and stats affecting properties such as fire rate, reload speed and recovery, while earned currency improves angels and other upgrades outside runs. The listing names bows, rifles and RPGs, but does not provide an actual passive or its upgrade price. That leaves the value of a particular recruit unresolved rather than establishing a best squad.
Completion is the important qualification in the retention claim. The description does not say that every failed attempt preserves every angel. If a persistent collection is the attraction, investigate what survives the specific result you reach. The useful promise is a link between the ally found during combat and the one you can continue developing afterward.

The Steam description establishes retention after completion, not after every death or failed run. It gives no named passive, upgrade cost or collection limit. The linked press kit returned no usable game text through the reader.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
