Future Knight makes switching characters restore the resource the other one needs

Switching characters in Future Knight is also an advertised recovery action. The official description says using Two More restores the robot’s health, while using Future Knight recharges Two More’s energy. Time spent with one has a stated benefit for the other.
Their capabilities differ as well. Future Knight has a plasma blaster, bites and a dodge roll; Two More can dash, climb walls, fire at short range and squeeze into tight spaces. That gives a switch two questions: which character can do what the situation needs, and which partner’s resource needs replenishing? The source supplies no recovery rate or activation condition, so it cannot establish a safe switching rhythm.
The story’s eight-hour deadline is represented by eight biomes, each associated with an hour of the antagonist’s day. It is not evidence of an eight-hour real-time clock. The combat rule is the clearer attraction: the partner waiting offstage is not merely another moveset. Using the current character is described as helping prepare the other to return.
Sources & context
The official description establishes reciprocal restoration without rates, conditions or costs. Its eight-hour premise is structured as eight biomes; no eight-hour real-time timer or measured campaign length is inferred.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
