Garisani Detective Agency shares different evidence through a case board
PREVIEW · Official Steam listing · Not played · Sources checked Oct 9, 2026. Our method.

Two investigators in Garisani Detective Agency do not receive the same evidence. The developer assigns one player a human role, collecting clues through conversation and site investigation, and the other a ghost role with access to hidden spaces. The case requires comparing those different views.
The case board supplies a concrete sharing action: place the evidence you found so the partner can see it. That makes finding an object only part of the job. The other player’s role may have produced something that changes how you understand it, without either person having the complete collection at the start.
There is also an unusual communication boundary to check before arranging a session. The official description says the co-op mode does not support voice chat. That is not a rule against talking through another service, and the source does not document a text-chat substitute. Its references to ghostly whispers should not be expanded into an invented microphone mechanic.
If cooperative deduction appeals, decide whether assembling evidence on the board is the kind of communication you want. The advertised asymmetry gives each partner a reason to investigate independently, then something specific to share. The useful question is what the other role can add to the case you think you already understand.
Sources & context
The listing explicitly states no co-op voice support. It does not establish whether external conversation is prohibited, whether text chat exists, or how whispers are controlled. No named clue or case solution was invented.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
