Megastore Chaos makes the shelf category the job, without a countdown
PREVIEW · Official Steam listing · Not played · Sources checked Oct 9, 2026. Our method.

Megastore Chaos gives each object a destination while leaving the clock out of the task. Its official description asks you to place products in their correct categories and explicitly advertises no countdown. There is a sorting goal even when speed is not the condition for meeting it.
The character can still develop skills for faster organizing or more efficient carrying. That makes speed an available interest in improving the routine, rather than proof that you must rush through it. The listing does not give the upgrade costs needed to rank those improvements.
This is an Early Access proposition, and the many-item totals in promotional snapshots are less useful than the category rule itself. If you enjoy bringing a space into order but prefer choosing the pace, inspect how the shelves communicate where products belong. The question is whether you enjoy the sorting job, not how impressive a marketing pile looks.
Sources & context
This Early Access preview uses the official description’s category and countdown rules. Conflicting item totals across marketing snapshots are omitted. Announcement retrieval failed, so no claim that a patch improved shelf feedback is made.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
