Night Guard – The Last Shift makes new tickets part of the entry check
PREVIEW · Official Steam listing · Not played · Sources checked Oct 9, 2026. Our method.

The plate list is the reference for the barrier in Night Guard – The Last Shift. The official description asks the guard to compare arriving vehicles with that list, admit or refuse them, and collect tickets containing new license plates and information.
That gives the routine a changing input. A vehicle’s excuse is not the same thing as its plate appearing in the information you have received. The developer introduces a suspicious vehicle that repeatedly tries to enter with different explanations, placing its persistence against the guard’s ordinary permission check. The source does not reveal what happens if you admit it or define a particular penalty for a mistaken decision.
The printer also produces an unsettling ticket as lights begin to fail and the exit becomes sealed, according to the synopsis. Those are advertised story events, not observed scares. The particular attraction is the way the job supplies a reason to look carefully: a new slip of paper may be relevant to the next entry decision. Before the barrier goes up, the useful question is what your current information actually authorizes.
Sources & context
The official description establishes plate-list checks and incoming tickets, but not a particular valid plate, error penalty or consequence of admitting the suspicious visitor. The fictional lot is not presented as real security guidance.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
