Now THAT’S a Big Dragon keeps the army between endless victories

Defeating the endless boss in Now THAT’S a Big Dragon! is advertised as a transition that preserves your army. In Version 1.3.0, the developer says the Unsinkable Bird returns stronger each time it is defeated, while your army and gold stay with you.
That gives continuing a specific shape. The next enemy is stronger, but you do not have to infer that every victory empties the force already assembled. The core idle game recruits adventurers, upgrades their power and automates the economy around a large enemy. Keeping the army lets its accumulated strength become the starting condition of the next fight.
The same update introduces Dragon Teeth, earned from chapter bosses, dungeons and Truly Endless, with an alternative purchase using gold. Teeth carry across chapters and buy permanent skills. The developer names shorter dungeon cooldowns and faster production among the available improvements, connecting a battle reward with systems outside direct damage.
These are distinct kinds of persistence. An endless victory retains the army and gold; teeth and purchased skills are described as remaining across chapters and runs. The announcement also allows restarting the endless climb, but does not enumerate every consequence of that restart. The different transitions should not be flattened into a claim that nothing can be lost.
For someone interested in growing the army, inspect which boundary you are about to cross. Winning again, beginning a chapter and choosing a fresh climb offer different questions about what comes along. The attractive rule is a stronger opponent meeting progress you have deliberately kept.

Version 1.3.0 distinguishes endless victories, chapters and permanent upgrades. It does not document every restart loss or prove an upgrade’s practical value. No endless climb was tested.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
