Project Solaris asks you to choose Hom’s move and then deliver its command
PREVIEW · Official Steam listing · Not played · Sources checked Oct 9, 2026. Our method.

In Project Solaris, selecting an attack is not the end of issuing the order. The developer says you control Solaris but defeat enemies by commanding Hom through successful quick-time events. The move you choose still needs to be delivered.
Trust gives the partnership a longer horizon. Trickier skills become available as the story advances and the pair build Trust, according to the listing. That establishes a relationship between development and the available commands; it does not establish a numerical formula for widening a QTE’s success window.
Equipment asks for another kind of preparation. Hom can equip items in bulk, but only equipment crafted specifically for him, and the developer describes crafting outcomes as random. Its advice is to match his gear to the current moveset. A desirable item on paper therefore needs to belong to the partner who can actually use it and the commands you are preparing to execute.
Investigate a complete exchange: the available move, its timing input and the equipment supporting it. That will show whether you enjoy this particular expression of teamwork more clearly than the promise of friendship alone.

QTE commands, Trust-linked skill availability and random crafting are official descriptions. No success window, Trust-to-timing formula, ideal build or ending route was tested.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
