Quarantine Zombies’ prologue advertises a place between clearance and execution
PREVIEW · Official Steam listing · Not played · Sources checked Oct 9, 2026. Our method.

Quarantine Zombies does not advertise every inspection as a two-button verdict. Its prologue description lists clearance, elimination and a quarantine room for observation. Holding someone for further screening is a separate choice between immediate acceptance and irreversible rejection.
The page names a full-body scanner, personal inspections and other devices for finding infection or contraband. It also warns that a survivor’s story should not simply be believed. Together, those descriptions make the evidence-gathering step part of the decision, although no particular symptom or test result is documented. There is no supported diagnosis to apply to a fictional visitor.
Observation’s cost remains an important unanswered detail: the source does not give its duration, capacity or effect on later decisions. Its presence is enough to distinguish the advertised options, but not enough to prove that holding every uncertain person is the best strategy.
Scope matters here too. The prologue advertises the first four days. The army’s thirty-day arrival and the subsequent rescue raid describe the larger premise, not thirty playable days established by this edition. The concrete reason to try this opening is the inspection question it can introduce: what evidence justifies clearance, what justifies elimination, and when is another look the decision you actually want?
Sources & context
The four-day scope is the prologue’s advertised limit, not thirty days of demonstrated content. The source gives no symptom reliability, observation duration or consequence of a specific decision. Zombie infection is fiction; the tools are not medical guidance.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
