Sauve le Shérif changes who hears you when you cross to the other saloon

Crossing the street in Sauve le Shérif changes which conversation you can hear. The French official description says voice chat is confined to the current saloon: North hears North, while entering South changes the circle of voices. An accusation may develop while you are somewhere else.
The duel then connects the two rooms. A player from each saloon faces a simultaneous choice, with five seconds to shoot or pacify. If both pacify, both survive; if both shoot, the developer says chance decides. No odds are supplied, so mutual aggression is not a calculable guaranteed escape.
Hidden roles give those decisions different purposes. Citizens support the sheriff and seek the outlaws; outlaws can win by killing the sheriff or reaching a majority. Keeping someone alive can therefore have a consequence beyond the immediate duel, even when the conversation made them sound convincing.
The sheriff’s silver bullet is another commitment: a single instant lethal shot, after which a miss or an innocent target leaves the sheriff exposed and disarmed. The source does not establish a reliable tell for identifying that target. Listen with an awareness of what you missed in the other room; having heard a confident story is different from having enough information to spend the shot.
The voice rule depends on the voice working. A negative French report posted September 18, with 356 minutes at review, says the writer had good moments with friends but encountered numerous bugs and unreliable voice chat. A positive French report posted August 25, with 134 minutes at review, enjoys the bluffing and reports no bugs on their side. These accounts differ; their dates and unknown builds do not establish a fixed or universal problem. For a group choosing the game around its divided conversations, current voice reliability is a consequential check.

Translated from the French official listing. No exact chance distribution, moderation behavior or current voice reliability is established; player group size is not inferred from the listing’s inconsistent narrative count. Selected recent accounts were read in full for a specific qualification; recommendations, dates and minutes are retained in the claim record. Build and patch correspondence remain unknown, and the sample cannot measure prevalence.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
