The Plant Shop gives a customer’s order four concrete ingredients: a pot, soil, a seed and water. The official description makes taking an order, crafting a plant and serving it the recurring shop routine. Its modes then offer different reasons to perform that routine.

Story mode follows Silvia’s late-night shop and the strange events surrounding a purported town curse. Relaxed mode advertises managing the shop at your own pace. Endless mode explicitly asks you to fulfil orders against the clock, with a leaderboard. A plant-making sequence can thus be part of a narrative or an overt speed challenge.

That distinction is more useful than assuming the word “cozy” promises one pace throughout. It does not establish whether every mode includes or excludes the horror events; the description leaves that unresolved. It does identify where the developer explicitly places the clock.

If the plant preparation attracts you, decide what you want surrounding it: a story to investigate, room to work at your pace, or pressure to complete another order. Then inspect the corresponding mode rather than treating the shop’s opening hours as the whole experience.

Sources & context

The official description supports the crafting inputs and mode distinctions. Horror events in Relaxed or Endless, exact scoring and story-ending conditions are not established. No pace, atmosphere or control responsiveness was tested.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
