Transformation Tycoon makes its content filter a research decision

In Transformation Tycoon, declining a line of research is also a way to decline its content. The developer’s description says an unwanted transformation theme can be excluded by leaving that transformation type unresearched. A preference about what you see becomes a decision about what the clinic can do.
The clinic researches techniques by paying test subjects, then serves clients whose requested transformations need the relevant resources. Crystals have an inventory, and automatic restocking is conditional on being able to afford it. Adding a service therefore belongs to the business simulation as well as its catalogue of adult themes; it is not described as a cosmetic toggle with no other consequence.
The developer explicitly says excluding themes affects balance and the amount of content. The description does not quantify that effect or explain whether a researched type can later be disabled. That leaves a useful distinction for anyone considering the game: its advertised exclusion method changes the available service set, while the resulting financial difficulty remains unspecified.
This is an adult simulation with sexual text, and the research system does not erase that overall context. Its particular attraction is the overlap between selecting themes and shaping a business. Choose what the clinic is willing to research before assuming that the broadest menu is the menu you want.
Sources & context
This is an adult game with text descriptions of nudity and sexual acts. Coverage is non-graphic. The listing describes research-based exclusions but does not specify their economic effects, reversibility or a separate complete filter menu.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
