Yandere Virus makes saving your pursuer a reason to enter danger

Yandere Virus makes the person chasing you the person you are trying to save. The official description identifies hidden Platonic Pumpkins as essential cure ingredients and says being caught ends the attempt. Running buys room to keep searching; it is not the advertised rescue objective by itself.
The graveyard adds another threat through mutated plants. The developer says they can attack even when you have escaped the infected friend. That makes losing the pursuer different from establishing that your next path is safe. The listing does not establish specific plant positions or dependable routes, so a walkthrough would require other evidence.
An imagined detour illustrates the decision: moving away from the chase is useful, but moving toward a required ingredient may be useful for a different reason. Whether one route accomplishes both depends on an actual map and the pursuer’s behavior, neither of which is established here.
Solo and up-to-four-player play are advertised. Before assuming a group can simply run in different directions, investigate how collecting and crafting work together. The concrete attraction is a chase with a rescue task that keeps asking you to look for something besides the nearest way out.

The chase, cure ingredient and additional plant threats are official descriptions. No map, spawn behavior, cure recipe count or successful escape route was tested.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
