Afterimage
Afterimage ties weapon skills to the class you invest in
PREVIEW · Official Google Play description · Not played · Sources checked Oct 9, 2026. Our method.

Afterimage makes a weapon class more than an equipment label. The official Android listing describes talent points spent on stat upgrades and unique skills for each weapon class. Picking a weapon and developing its abilities are connected choices.
That supplies a useful question when comparing a new weapon with the one you have been using: which class-specific moves have you invested in, and which ones would you want to develop? The description does not establish respec costs or prove that changing classes wastes earlier points, so that particular penalty should not be assumed.
Exploration has another advertised source of development through new abilities and Afterimages that open areas and shortcuts. The listing links those benefits to combat as well, but it does not establish that every weapon skill opens a route. A combat build and an exploration gate need to be distinguished until a specific interaction is documented.
Look closer if you enjoy developing a way of fighting alongside finding equipment. Inspect a weapon class’s actual skills before judging it solely by the next item’s numbers.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
