REMEMBER / COMPARE
Anomaly Company
Anomaly Company gives the crew a shared scene to remember
PREVIEW · Official Steam listing · Not played · Sources checked Oct 9, 2026. Our method.

Anomaly Company gives its crew a scene before giving it a dispute. The official description says each level begins stable. You memorize the surroundings, watch for possible changes, and decide whether the timeline is safe or should be purged.
The cooperative premise changes how that uncertainty can be handled. Up to four players can compare observations through voice or text. A detail someone remembers differently becomes something to discuss against the starting scene. That is an advertised use for communication, not proof that a group’s recollection is always more reliable.
A bad call forces a restart, according to the description, though it does not define the restart’s scope or who has authority to make the final choice. It would be unsupported to invent a majority vote or a particular penalty streak.
If discussing what changed is the attraction, inspect how clearly the game presents the stable scene and the eventual decision. The useful tension is between something noticed and something agreed upon. Anomaly Company offers the crew channels to compare those observations; it still asks for a consequential call.
Sources & context
The Steam description establishes a stable baseline, possible changes, one-to-four-player cooperation and restart after a bad call. It does not identify a particular anomaly, voting rule, decision authority or restart scope. Co-op and voice operation were not tested.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
