BROK the InvestiGator’s detective used to be a boxer, but the player does not have to make the same career commitment. Its Android listing advertises relaxed mode as a point-and-click experience in which fights can be skipped. The combat is part of the game’s identity without being an unavoidable demand of that mode.

That is more specific than a general promise to play your way. Combining clues and following the investigation remain part of the advertised adventure; relaxed mode changes the obligation to perform fights. The listing’s broader “wits or muscles” language should not be stretched into a claim that every individual puzzle has two interchangeable solutions.

For someone attracted by a detective story but uncertain about touch-screen brawling, the mode is a useful reason to look closer. The important question is not whether Brok can punch. It is whether you want punching to be part of your investigation.

Sources & context

The Android listing explicitly describes skippable fights in relaxed mode. It does not establish that every puzzle has a fighting solution. Three displayed review excerpts were inspected; one discusses touchscreen combat difficulty, but its date/build were not verified, so it is not used as a current-control-quality claim.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
