MOVE / COMPETE
Catto Pew Pew!
Catto Pew Pew gives VR players arm-swinging movement in shared matches
PREVIEW · Official Steam listing · Not played · Sources checked Oct 9, 2026. Our method.

Catto Pew Pew advertises shared matches without identical movement inputs. Its official description offers VR/flatscreen crossplay and separately gives VR players Monke Mode, where swinging the arms drives parkour around the arena. The hardware changes the advertised way to move through the fight.
That makes movement setup a meaningful part of considering this physics shooter. Arm-driven locomotion asks for a physical action that the page does not assign to flatscreen play. The description gives no speed comparison, input mapping or balance evidence, so crossplay cannot establish that either setup is stronger or that they feel equivalent.
Shooting opponents into the air is another advertised physical interaction. It puts disruption beside navigation, but the source supplies no launch force or a demonstrated way to recover. The useful first question is which movement style you want to examine while competing in the same arena. Sharing the match does not answer how you want your own character to get around it.

The listing does not establish movement parity, competitive advantage, headset compatibility or which inputs flatscreen players use. Crossplay and physics behavior were not tested.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
