Draco and the Seven Scales gives the pirate captain two ways to interact with the world. The official description says you switch between traveling on foot and sailing, with puzzles requiring interaction in both forms. The ship belongs to the adventure’s tools as well as its transport.

That makes arrival only one reason to change modes. A location may need to be considered from the captain’s position and from the vessel’s, although the listing gives no puzzle sequence that would justify a specific solution. The supported question is which form can perform the interaction an obstacle requires.

Ship upgrades extend the same interest to capabilities and cannon use. If a top-down adventure appeals most when a new tool changes how you read familiar surroundings, investigate what the vessel can do beyond delivering you to shore. Draco’s invitation is to bring both the captain and the ship to the problem.

Sources & context

The official description establishes interaction in both forms, but gives no named puzzle or required switch sequence. The ship is not assumed to reach every location, and no boss solution is prescribed.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
