Driving Rogue gives a rival’s car a clear access condition: take down that Rogue to unlock it. The official description presents this alongside a different development layer inside each run, where modifier cards and upgrades build around offered abilities.

Those layers pose different questions. Which opponent would open the vehicle you want to investigate, and what can the current run’s cards do for the car you already have? The listing says vehicles differ in handling and strengths, but gives no statistics with which to prescribe a superior choice.

It also names Nitro and Ghost without explaining a complete card interaction, so those names cannot support an invented combination. The concrete attraction is the connection between beating an opponent and expanding your available rides. If a racing roguelike appeals because the next car has someone to beat first, examine the rival unlocks before assuming the garage is only a shopping list.

Sources & context

The official description gives the rival-to-car condition but no precise defeat objective, handling statistics or named modifier interaction. Nitro and Ghost are advertised ability names, not tested effect descriptions.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
