STAGGER / EXECUTE
Duola Mage
Duola Mage gives a staggered enemy a seven-second deadline
PREVIEW · Official Steam listing · Not played · Sources checked Oct 9, 2026. Our method.

Duola Mage separates earning an opening from using it. According to its official combat description, emptying an enemy’s white posture bar stuns it, after which you have seven seconds to press R for an Execution. The depleted bar starts a deadline rather than automatically completing the action.
That is worth distinguishing from the advertised Finisher. Once the combo count exceeds 50, continuing normal attacks makes the final strike trigger that move automatically. An Execution instead asks you to identify a state on a particular enemy and supply the follow-up input. These are different kinds of attention, even though both sound like a fight’s punctuation mark.
The listing gives no basis for declaring either move the best damage option. Its more useful invitation is to a combat rhythm with both accumulated combos and temporary opportunities. If you enjoy spotting a stagger and deliberately converting it, the seven-second rule tells you what to watch for.

Controls and the seven-second window are stated in the official listing. No execution damage, invulnerability, animation timing or combat responsiveness was tested.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
