Meow Squad: Incremental Fishing gives your fishing proceeds somewhere to go, then puts something else in the way. The official listing says resources light up the talent tree and improve fishing, while defeating the seas’ Overlords unlocks new seas. More resources and a new destination are related goals, not the same achievement.

That is the meaningful complication in its incremental loop. The advertised boss battles use an arcade format and ask for different strategies. The page does not provide those strategies or an upgrade threshold, so there is no supported claim that enough fishing automatically settles the fight.

For someone who wants growth to lead into an active challenge, this is a useful handoff: fish to develop your abilities, then confront the gate. For someone seeking an entirely unattended climb through new waters, the Overlord requirement deserves a closer look before the cats distract you.

Sources & context

The listing links fishing resources, upgrades and Overlord victories. It does not establish a required upgrade level or demonstrate any boss strategy. Advertised round length is not used as a measure of progression speed.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
