CARRY / RESTRAIN
Shady job
Shady job makes rough handling a threat to the route you built
PREVIEW · Official Steam listing · Not played · Sources checked Oct 9, 2026. Our method.

Shady job gives its construction crew cargo that objects to being delivered. The official description says the body bag struggles, escapes, breaks structures and pushes workers off ledges. Handle it too roughly and it becomes more aggressive. Getting it up the skyscraper therefore includes a problem that building a bridge alone cannot solve.
That connection matters because the route is something the crew constructs. Bridges made from building blocks are described as unstable; a mistake can destroy the structure. The thing you are taking across that work can also damage it. Cargo control and route building are consequently parts of the same advertised problem: the bag can threaten the means of carrying it.
The Plunger Gun is presented as a tool for climbing, survival and controlling the bag. That gives the crew another stated intervention, but the description does not define which movements count as rough handling or how aggression changes. Throwing it across a gap, for instance, would be an imagined tactic rather than a verified shortcut.
For a group attracted to this sort of delivery, the consequential question is how to move an unwilling object without giving it more opportunities to wreck the crossing. Shady job’s skyscraper supplies the height; its handling rule makes your treatment of the cargo part of the danger.
Sources & context
The official description connects rough handling with aggression and names structural damage and ledge pushes. It does not quantify aggression, define the rough-handling trigger or establish which restraint is safest. Physics, accessibility and co-op operation were not tested.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
