sobosuba makes launch strength a choice about what else you disturb
PREVIEW · Official Steam listing and developer website · Not played · Sources checked Oct 9, 2026. Our method.

The useful question before a shot in sobosuba is how much of the existing stack you want to move. The Steam description distinguishes a soft launch that positions a blob without disturbing others from a fast launch that pushes and squeezes through a tight gap. The same placement action can preserve the arrangement or try to alter it.
The official site repeats that distinction and describes merging toward larger blobs and higher scores. Soft bodies give the advertised shove a specific purpose: access to a space is not described solely by whether a rigid shape fits. That does not establish that every narrow opening is passable, or supply a force value for a particular shot.
With no explicit time pressure in the developer’s description, choosing the launch can be a matter of considering the stack rather than beating a stated countdown. If you enjoy merge puzzles but want a different placement decision, this is the attraction to look for. Aim at where the blob should finish, then decide whether the route there is allowed to rearrange its neighbors.

The Steam description and official site establish the launch-strength distinction without a force scale, merge-size sequence or worked shot. Physics feel and input accessibility were not tested. The official site describes mobile as planned, not currently available.

One mechanic, the decision it creates, and a little dry humor.
